Vicky was at Marinyn Primary on the Kericho Tea Estate and was put forward for the Trust’s sponsorship in part because of her tough family circumstances. Both of her parents were without full time work. She also scored one of the highest marks in her Primary school exams The Trust had ever seen.
She was accepted at Londiani Girls in January 2016 and the Trust began sponsoring her. She scored A’s in each of the first three terms. She has managed to keep up the good grades and when Will met up with her in June 2019, during her final year at Londiani, and he felt sure that she would make it to University.
Vicky got her place at Kenya Methodist University, and begun her Bachelors in Education there in 2020. She hopes to begin a career in teaching once she graduates at the beginning of 2024.
Her hobbies include skating and playing football.
