Davis is the eldest of five children. His father left home when he was just starting primary school and his mother was left to support the family whilst working on a flower farm on the tea estate outside Kericho. His mother must be doing a good job as Davis managed to come top at Saramek Primary and secured a place at the academic Londiani Boys in January 2018. Since his mother was unable to pay for the fees, the Trust began sponsoring him.
Davis wrote us a very touching and grateful letter which was scanned through to us by a teacher at Londiani Boys who is keeping an eye on him. Will enjoyed meeting up with him at school in June 2019. He seemed quietly confident and spoke of his love for Manchester City and Riyad Mahrez! His marks are satisfactory but there is certainly room for improvement – we all believe he is capable of doing better!
