Mercy comes from very unfortunate circumstances having being orphaned at a young age after her single mother died. Her grandmother subsequently took care of her but sadly died soon after. She has since been looked after by the wife of a her deceased uncle. In spite of all she’s been through, Mercy managed to get a good enough mark in her primary school exams to get a place at the academic Sacred Hills Secondary School in Londiani. Since her guardian could not afford her secondary school feels she was considered a very worth candidate for Saramek Trust sponsorship.
Mercy seems to have settled in well at Sacred Hills and when Will met up with her in June 2019 she spoke of her desire to get a good enough there to go on and study Nursing at University.
