Will Tudor-Evans

Jeremiah was raised by his grandmother and went to Saramek Primary school where he did well. Sadly his grandmother died and Sarah Njambi, a close friend of the Trust, welcomed him in to her household. Shortly thereafter they were forced to moved from the Kericho area due to the 2008 post-election turmoil. It was decided that he was a very worthy candidate for the Trust’s sponsorship.

Jeremiah’s began his secondary school education at Ichagaki Boys High School at Maragua in January 2008. Will and Shirley met up with Sarah in Nairobi in July 2014 and in 2016 Sarah came to meet Will and Shirley together with Moses, Jeremiah and Simon and they all had a very jolly lunch in Nairobi. Jeremiah is very artistic and has sent photos through WhatsApp of his wares, together with a business plan for a Aquarium Business which sounded ambitious and also had ideas to start a bakery. Will met up with him in Nairobi in June 2019. He now has a wife and two children, as well as running a small samosa business, and remains as cheerful as ever.
