Damaris performed very well at her Primary School despite coming from a poor and unsettled family. Her mother had been unable to support her elder brother after qualifying for a good secondary school so instead had to move him to a day school where she paid for the school fees by cleaning utensils at the school canteen.
Damaris scored in 322 in her final Primary School exams and, in October 2021, was accepted Sacred Hills School where she will begin her secondary education.
