Billian is an orphan and after finishing her secondary school in 2013 she moved to Kisumu on Lake Victoria where Will and Shirley visited her in July 2014. Sadly she didn’t get high enough grades to get to university but she did an ICT course and was supported by a cousin who has a dress shop at Busia on the border with Uganda where she often works at the weekend. She was keen to work in the fashion industry but when Will and Shirley met up with her in 2016 she told them she was hoping to be sponsored by a Dutchman who has offered to sponsor her through a course to give her a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics in Eldoret. We believe he is continuing to sponsor her.
